Maternal Mental Health Counseling Services

Angela Pham, MS, LMHC, PMH-C, RDN, CD, is a licensed mental health counselor, registered dietitian, and certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor. Her private practice, in Spokane, WA, is focused on empowering and supporting women and their partners during both the pregnancy and postpartum period. She teaches practical skills to couples from the Bringing Baby Home Program, developed by Dr. John Gottman, PhD, which is specifically designed to help couples maintain a positive relationship in their transition to parenthood. She also provides individual counseling services, with specialty training from Postpartum Support International. She provides counseling from a mindfulness perspective and teaches skills from cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal skills, and empowerment/feminism approaches.

Therefore, Angela can meet with you prior to the arrival of your baby to determine the most beneficial services. Angela is also connected to several local providers that serve pregnant and postpartum women and offers referrals on a regular basis.
